SMP Greenville employs just around 300 employees in the upstate. Sadly, our small community was devastated by Hurricane Helene, the worst hurricane to hit USA land since Katrina. Resources ranging from gas, water, ice, perishable foods, and basic first aid supplies are extremely limited. Many employees are still without power and have severe damage to their homes and cars. The entire community lost power for days causing everyone to empty their fridges of spoiled food, a financial impact that many workers will suffer from. A few of our employees also loved ones during the terrible storm: aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces. 100% of the funds raised will go directly to Standard Motor Product employees who need to replace food, cars, roofs on houses, and sadly- pay for funeral expenses.
