My name is Jordan Agoubi, but more importantly, my dog’s name is Smalls, like the phrase “you’re killing me Smalls” from the movie “The Sandlot.”

If you’ve been a part of my life, then you’ve been lucky enough to have had the pleasure of meeting, spending time with, and developing a loving bond with Smalls!

With most of you witnessing the unfortunate diagnosis of Smalls and her T-Cell Lymphoma, the past ten months have been extremely challenging, and we’ve been fighting tirelessly to ensure she receives the best possible care and treatment there is! Yesterday afternoon (10/27), I had to leave work and rush her to the Maine Veterinary Medical Center Emergency Vet due to her lymph nodes in her neck enlarging following a seizure she had in the middle of the night. She was admitted into the ICU Department immediately. This morning, I received an update that she had another seizure and is now undergoing a Cerecarian Infusion to rule out whether the lymphoma has progressed and spread to her brain. If this infusion comes back inconclusive, the next step would be an MRI. This would be the only way to get a definite answer on if she has developed a brain tumor or something else that has been causing her to have seizures, as well as a definite route to take for treating her. Everything going on has been what I would call a terrifying process for her, for me, and for everyone involved. At this time, we desperately need all the support we can get!

I’m not much of a person that asks for help with much anything, but at this time, help is the one thing I could use! Smalls is not only my dog, she’s literally my best friend!

If anyone is able to lend a helping hand, it would be not only greatly appreciated but it would mean the world to Smalls and I!
