This is what's left after my dear friend Sidney abruptly escaped the Eaton Fire with her two dogs. She only had time to grab her two dogs and her parents' picture next to her bed. Sidney is one of my four besties from high school in Korea, and we spent the past 40+ years of our lives together through thick and thin, but this, losing an entire home to fire, is something beyond our imagination.

This house was a home for many of us. My daughter grew up visiting Auntie's house whenever we went to California. It was a home for four dogs (RIP Noelle and Bailey), now with Piper and Koby. This home was loved by her husband, who collected many sports memorabilia, cooked amazing meals for friends, and is now fighting cancer.

She needs temporary housing, bare necessities, and funds to restock her husband's medicine and medical supplies. The insurance company is taking their sweet time while their life has to go on, especially for her husband who is fighting cancer so bravely despite all these unbelievable life-changing tragedies.

Let's help her reset her life, rebuild her home, and restore her broken heart.
