Aid Shawn with Roxanne's Medical Bills

I'm Shawn, and it's with a broken heart that I am on this site. Roxanne was my best friend. Other than my kids, she was with me for ten years. We had so much fun together, but we also had some very challenging times with her health. She overcame issues that should have taken her life, but she had a strong will to live. She was a very special girl, very beautiful, happy, and so smart. Everyone loved her, especially me.

This latest health issue was something we could not overcome. She tried so hard, and even with all the needles and medications, she never cried or complained. My heart is broken, and I'm trying to heal, but the financial strain of this tragedy is quite large. She was in the emergency hospital for seven days trying to get home. We had many friends praying, but her condition was too much. I had to help her with this battle. We tried so hard, but the illness won. Now I'm left with memories and an empty house.

I'm not really good at asking for help. I've always been the guy that helped other people, but this time I'm the guy that needs help. So here I am, asking for help. Just like the people who stand on street corners with signs that say 'anything helps,' this will be true for me. Please share my story with your friends and family.
