Aid Sharif's Journey to Regain Strength and Mobility

My brother Sharif fell January 28th. He hit his head and lost conscience. He was taken to Medford by ambulance, he lost all movement in his body. When they arrived at the hospital they did a MRI and it showed that he has Central Cord Syndrome. They did surgery right away and fused C3-C6. He was in ICU and just got moved to Inpatient rehab on Wednesday February 5th. He is starting to walk slowly and regain mobility to move his left hand and fingers, his right arm is a work in progress. His body is very weak as it went through a big trauma and is having to relearn everything. The dr said could be a year before he knows what his permanent status will be. We are just taking it day by day. Each day Sharif is working with physical therapy, he is very determined to gain back his mobility. His wife Nicole has been by his side the whole time.

I am setting this go fund me up since he is self employed and Nicole is taking time off to help Sharif. The cost of all this and what he will need once he gets home is unknown. I do not want him to focus on anything but getting better. If you know my brother, you know he has worked hard his whole life and would never take a handout.
