When I visited my brother, sister-in-law, and nephew, who were missionaries in Africa eight years ago, I met Shaban. He was my brother's assistant, driver, and general handyman. He was delightful and drove us everywhere to see the sights. And he was obviously a huge part of their family.
After Charles and Karen passed away, Shaban continued with driving work for a small company in Mwanza, a nearby town in Tanzania. And then he had a horrendous motorcycle accident which damaged his spinal cord and rendered him unable to work. He's been told that surgery is not an option and will probably never be able to work again. He has a wife and two sons, and his wife is able to make some money but not enough to take care of their family.
I have been in communication with Shaban since my return from Africa because I just loved him and especially what he did for my family members. And now he needs our help. Please give what you can in order to save his family. I will be eternally grateful.
