My name is Kelley, and I am Scott's sister. My brother was involved in an accident where he has burns to his right arm, both legs, and part of his lower abdomen. He was sent to Maine Medical, and he needs to see a burn specialist/surgeon. I am not sure how long he will be in the hospital, but I assume a while. He was just sent last night. His wife was also burned, but she is by his side anyway. They will likely require aftercare with lots of travel. We are looking to help them with the expenses of being in Maine and other expenses. UPDATE!

Scott is still in the hospital dealing with painful dressing changes. he is unable to get out of the hospital until his meds are better controlled. that could be a few more days. he will then have to travel to get his dressing changes in Portland. likely several days a week. he has been in ok spirits and wants to get home.

UPDATE! 6/27/25

Scott was sent home on Sunday 6/22/25. he struggled some at home with pain and anxiety. He was seen on Wednesday 6/25. he was then told that he would need a skin grafts to both legs. Today 6/27 he will go in for surgery around 10. prayers welcome!
