Aid Sanel: From Job Loss to Sheriff's Hope
Donation protected
I'm in a desperate situation and I'm reaching out for any assistance possible. I recently lost my job, and the $500 unemployment checks I'm receiving bi-weekly barely cover a few basic bills, let alone my rent, utilities, and other essential expenses. I'm using what little money I have left to pay for fuel to go to job interviews and search for a new position, as well as to buy food for myself and my pets. This is the first time in over 3 years that I've fallen behind on my rent, and my property management company has been completely unsympathetic and unwilling to help, even though I've always been a responsible and reliable tenant up until now. They have no remorse or willingness to work with me, and I'm terrified of being evicted and losing my home.
The good news is that I'm expecting to start working for the Ellis County Sheriff's Department soon, as long as I can pass the physical test, polygraph, and background check on Monday, April 7th. If I can get hired, I will no longer need assistance. But in the meantime, I'm in dire need of help to cover my rent, utilities, and other critical bills. Anything you can do to help me get by until I start my new job would be an absolute lifesaver. I'm so grateful for any support you can provide during this extremely difficult time. God bless you.
