❤️ Help My Mom and Pops Rebuild After Devastating Home Damage and Health Challenges

Hi, my name is Chris, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my parents, Sandra and Terry — though to me, they’ll always just be Mom and Pops.

My stepdad, Terry, spent his career as a paramedic, responding to emergencies and caring for others when they needed help the most. He’s been the rock of our family — steady, humble, and always putting others first. My mom, Sandra, has dedicated over 30 years as a Director of Nursing in long-term care, leading with compassion and touching countless lives through her work. Together, they’ve devoted their entire lives to helping others.

Now, after all the years they’ve spent caring for everyone else, they’re the ones who need help.

What Happened

A severe water leak in their home caused massive water damage, leaving the floors unstable and collapsing in several areas. The house has been deemed unsafe to live in, forcing them to relocate temporarily. Because of these safety concerns, home health nurses and physical therapists can’t enter the property, meaning my Pops would lose access to critical in-home physical therapy and medical support that he urgently needs for his recovery.

They’re now juggling mounting medical expenses, temporary housing costs, and repairs that insurance won’t fully cover — all while my mom continues to care for him and manage her own health challenges from a previous car accident.

I’m creating this GoFundMe to help my Mom and Pops get through this incredibly difficult chapter. The funds raised will go toward:

• Securing a safe and livable home so my Pops can receive ongoing care and physical therapy

• Covering temporary housing and relocation costs
