Aid Saga’s Surgery Revision and Transition for Relief

Hi! My name is Saga and I’m fundraising for a revision surgery. My previous breast augmentation was covered by my insurance. However, the surgeon I chose did not handle me with care, and when I expressed concern, he ghosted me, and their office will not see me. Unfortunately, my insurance will not cover revisions.

My current implants were placed incorrectly. Not to mention the botched job and scars, they are causing pain to my breastbone and actively shifting even more out of place. This creates not only a strange appearance but a lot of pain as well. I also have mild pectus carinatum, which is where my breastbone and sternum are out of place, and one side is higher than the other. My previous surgeon did not handle this with care and essentially, as my new doctor said, “slipped them in and sewed it up with no care to your anatomy.” This has caused me more dysphoria than the euphoria I was hoping for.

I currently have $4k saved of my own money, but the surgery is $9,400. So, I only feel comfortable asking for a little less than half of the cost. As of now, I have been working so much, and all my money is going to this and nothing else. This has been extremely stressful and overwhelming, and I’m embarrassed but would love support during this process. I’m glad to have found a new surgeon in Baltimore that I feel comfortable with, and I just would love some support through this. Thank you in advance!
