S. is a Marshall student and a mother of two beautiful children. Her older child has a developmental disability, and caring for him is what inspired her to return to college for her B.A. in psychology. She is on track to graduate with honors and pursue a master's degree, to study her son's condition and help other kids like him. Recently, her son's health has taken a turn, requiring more serious care and a reevaluation of his treatment. Her husband has been forced to cut back his working hours to help meet their son's increased care needs, resulting in a loss of income for their family. The situation has put a strain on their ability to meet financial needs this winter. S. was also diagnosed with adenomyosis and endometriosis this past November, requiring a hysterectomy and excision surgery. She does not have health insurance and will be paying out of pocket in order to obtain relief from these painful conditions. Your donation will help pay for medical bills and living expenses, to support the family while they secure new treatment for their son.
