Ryan Mullins and his family are well-known and well-loved within the Grove City, Ohio community. Ryan, 32, and his older brother, Jared, were raised here, as were their parents, Jeff and Melanie Oiler-Mullins. So many of you who know the Mullins family have reached out to them, offering to help in any way possible. The family thanks you most of all for your prayers, healing thoughts, and concern.
Ryan suffered from a life-altering seizure on October 9, just a few weeks ago, which resulted in emergency care and subsequent admission into ICU. He has been in critical care since then, with minimal levels of consciousness and responsiveness The prognosis on how long Ryan’s recovery will be is unclear. The financial hardship is heavy. Medical costs, dental costs, long term care, and daily bills are overwhelming.
Ryan is a cherished and valued employee of Woodlands Tavern in Grandview, where his engaging and genuine personality is a welcome face for the other workers and for the patrons. Ryan's Woodlands family has created a GoFundMe to help the family with related costs. Efforts are also underway for fundraisers at Woodlands Tavern in Grandview and at Plank’s on Broadway in Grove City. We will post details as they become available.
