Aid Ryan and Shelby in Memory of Hayden

Ryan, Shelby and all their family suffered a great loss. Their son Hayden was only present on this earth for a short 6 days. Hayden spent all his time in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, surrounded by family.

Hayden was born on January 9, 2025 at 1:17pm via c section after a long labor. At some point before or during the birthing process Hayden suffered from hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy, meaning not enough oxygen was getting to his brain. Hayden was cooled for 3 days to try to preserve tissue function, then slowly rewarmed. A MRI was then obtained that showed devastating results. Hayden’s brain had been severely damaged, and had cause a cascade of other issues in his body that were unable to be cured.

After these results, Hayden was baptized, then Ryan and Shelby disconnected him from all medical interventions. Hayden was able to spend hours with his family before peacefully passing in the arms of his parents at 4:54pm on January 15, 2025.

Unfortunately, with this tragic loss comes many crippling medical expenses.
