My name is KC, I am from Georgia but met Rushelle working in the grand Tetons last winter.

i know Hurricane Melissa has affected so many lives and families. Including my beautiful friend from Jamaica, who I hold dear to my heart.

My friend Rushelle is one of the kindest, genuine, inspiring, and hardest working women I’ve ever met in my life. She has spent countless of months away from her family at a time just to be able to provide a better future financially for them. And to think of the fact that my beautiful friend has lost her home and everything she has worked so hard for makes my heart ache, terrible. I watched this women work ten hour day weeks at a time and not complain at all and get on the phone with her son with a smile on her face Everytime. While we only spent a couple months together being roommates, I was going through one of the hardest times of my life and know I was not the easiest to deal with. THIS WOMEN NEVER Made me feel less than myself, never judged me. She is the most humblest people i’ve ever met, and taught me so many lessons and saved my life in a way I cannot explain to you. The lord knew what he was doing when he sent me her ❤

She has over come so many trials already so i know God is with her through this one too.

As of right now they are safe and at a shelter.

i asked her if she had made a gofundme or something other. She asked if i would help her with doing so.
