Aid Ruger's Family with Vet Bills
Donation protected
Our Ruger boy was shot on Sunday, 10/13/24, between the hours of midnight and 2 a.m. He was put on his chain, and he somehow slipped it. During that time he was off, he got shot in the back of his right leg with a .22, where the bullet got lodged and basically exploded inside his leg, which in turn shattered his bone to where it could not be repaired.
We have filed a police report, and we are working on finding out who did this. It’s 100% our fault he got off the chain. I accept that accountability on my part, but whoever did this needs to own up to their side of things. He was shot either running away from someone or was shot running through a yard.
Because of this, our boy had to have his leg taken off from the elbow down. This has given us a very large and unexpected vet bill. We are a big family of 6, this was the last thing we needed.. any help would be appreciated but prayers for healing can be enough too.
