A lot of you know our dad, Nicolas, aka “Rudy,” from Hardee’s where he has worked for 20+ years. He may have taken some extra time to ask you about your day or even paid for your meal. Well, on October 21st, he was admitted to Newman Regional Health due to medical complications. After multiple tests, the results showed an acute stroke, and he will be spending an unknown amount of time in the hospital. Due to the stroke, he is unable to care for himself and will also require physical therapy. At this time, we are unsure how long the road to recovery will be.

If you know Rudy, you know he works hard to provide for his family. While he’s been in the hospital, he has only talked about returning home and getting back to work in order to pay for the bills he’s currently acquiring. His wife has also taken time off to be with him and their children during this difficult time.
