Aid Rowan's Recovery and Family Well-being

Newborn, Rowan, was born facing serious medical complications, requiring a prolonged neonatal intensive care unit stay. He was born not breathing and without a heart rate. He was intubated after three minutes and did not regain a full pulse for fourteen minutes. He was diagnosed with HIE, Hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy. Based on his MRI results, the neurologists say his development could range from normal to having cerebral palsy.

The funds raised through this crowdfunding campaign will provide support for Baby Rowan and family. They will be used to cover any necessary medical expenses, as well as the costs of care for a medically fragile child. This will also support the parents in treating their own trauma resulting from the traumatic birth and prolonged NICU stay.
