Hi, my name is Amanda Sanders, and I am the neighbor and good friend of the McLaughlins. My daughter, Izabelle, is Rowan’s best friend. I am making this GoFundMe account to help out with medical expenses and bills, along with everyday life stuff.

They were given the worst news any parent wants to hear: their daughter was diagnosed with cancer at the delicate age of 12. I don’t want to put too much personal info out unless given permission. I do know she is going through testing to make a definite diagnosis of what kind of cancer she has, so everyone just pray for her and her family. Every little bit helps❤️

We have a diagnosis:

Stage III High LDH Non Hodgkin Mature B cell Lymphoma

It is diffused throughout her entire abdomen and pelvic lymph nodes.

No surgery option.

Chemo starts tonight.

7 days of hospitalization during treatment. Then two weeks home.

Rinse and repeat for four months.

It’s a very fast growing cancer, so they are going to be very aggressive with her treatment.

She will lose all of her hair and she will be very very sick.

But she comes from a long line of strong, feisty women, and has lots of people that love her; she will beat this. ❤️

UPDATE:

What a rollercoaster this has been

Yesterday we were told 10 more days minimum inpatient…which really sucked.

Today, her oncology team came in and said her bloodwork is looking good!!!

So they are discharging her today at some point. We get to go home for a few days!! ❤️

Back to clinic at the CHOP KOP campus on Thursday for another chemo infusion and CT scan

Then Saturday (12/7) next round of chemotherapy will begin. She will be staying for another week…give or take…for the length of that treatment.

This upcoming chemotherapy will be a very intense, constant round of medications and they want her in the hospital so they can closely monitor her.
