Hi, I'm Jody. I'm trying to raise funds to cover an emergency surgery for my Dad's dog Rosie. She had emergency hysterectomy surgery on Thursday after a visit to the Vet Wednesday revealed she had Pyometria. Friday night she was admitted to the Urgent Care Vet in East Rochester because her red blood cell count dropped severely, and would possibly need a transfusion. She was released to us Saturday morning around 11am, and has been resting and recovering slowly but steadily, and we think that today she made it into safe territory and will be ok.
My Father is 79, retired, supplimenting SS and retirement working part time. Fairport taxes are due, and this sudden huge expense is creating a lot of worry. His Vet does not take Care Credit, and that bill is $2,000. The Emergency Vet does take Care Credit, however, that bill is $2,500 and Care Credit is covering about $750. I am currently in a Workers Comp Injury case and only working part time, and while I'll help as much as I can, I'm really not able to help very much.
I am hoping to raise whatever possible to help my Dad offset this sudden expense. Any amount helps, and if somehow the entire amount gets raised, that would be incredible. But, again, any amount raised would help immensly. Thank you!
