Aid Rosie's Eye Healing Process

Hi everyone! My name's Madison and I'm trying to raise money to get our girl Rosie's eye fixed. (Our 2 year old golden retriever)

Rosie has had an ongoing eye ulcer causing her a great deal of pain for the last 5 or 6 months now. Rosie has been on many medications to try to help heal this issue, and after weekly vet visits and emergency vet visits, we were finally referred to a specialist! The specialist who examined Rosie discovered she has a hair growing inside her eyelid, causing irritation to her eye, which is causing this ulcer to grow. This specialist wants to sedate Rosie, remove the area around the hair, and then freeze the area so that this hair doesn't have a chance to grow back. If Rosie does not get this hair removed, she will continue to have this ulcer in her eye. It can be maintained, but Rosie will spend her life in either a cone or a protective mask so she cannot scratch and irritate her eye, and she will continue to be in pain. I'm trying to raise money for this surgery so we can get Rosie back to her normal happy self. Every penny counts at this point.

The funds we earn will be used to pay for Rosie’s surgery. We have tried applying for care credit, they will not approve us, we’ve also tried something called Scratch Pay, we for some reason cannot get approved through that program either. Without this fundraiser we will not be able to afford this surgery for Rosie. All we want for Christmas is our pup to be happy and healthy again. Currently medication will keep her in a sleepy, pain free state, but all she really wants is to go outside and play in the snow with her kid.
