Hi! My name is Rose Winter, and recently my family and I have seemed to hit a patch of just non-stop blows from life. Recently, my 13-year-old son decided that he wanted to try and be a YouTuber and break into what he thought was an abandoned home and explore it. Fun fact: it wasn’t abandoned; it was a home that was being remodeled. Not only did he decide to break in, but he and his friend also decided it would be a good idea to trash the house and do damage. Now, I can tell you that my husband and I are not raising our boys to do this kind of stuff, and the saying “boys will be boys” does not fly in our house, at least not for this situation. The homeowner caught them in the act, and the cops were called. She was gracious enough not to press any charges, seeing as both kids were minors. However, of course, it falls on us parents to pay for the damages that were made, as well as the court fees and lawyer's fee since she wants to go to civil court to resolve it.

Now, I don’t know about y’all, but my husband and I are basically living paycheck to paycheck. We have 4 kids, a house, and are working our butts off to provide a good life for our boys. This was completely unforeseen, as it usually is in this life. It's just another blow to top our mounting bills, which we already have since we have one of our boys getting strabismus eye surgery soon, and we have to pay (even with insurance).

My husband and I aren’t usually the type of people to ask for help financially, considering that we know that everyone is going through their rough times, but I’m asking for help now because at this moment it seems like I don’t know how we are going to get by with everything that has been happening. If you could please find it in your hearts to help us out a little, anything counts and is greatly appreciated by this family who could really use a miracle right now.
