Aid Rosabella & Children's Journey to a Safe Future

My name is Rosabella, I'm a 32 year old single mom in the Portland area. I have 3 children (14, 10 & 9). I was born and raised in the Portland Oregon area.

At just 13 years old, I was kidnapped and trafficked for two weeks, then shot on February 14, 2006. I subsequently spent a month in the hospital, then was voluntarily signed over to DHS custody. I felt unloved and unfortunately found love and attention with the wrong people. I continued to be trafficked until I was 17 years old.

I have spent the past decade and a half trying to heal, and raise my children to be respectable human beings with the best lives possible. I go above and beyond for them to see that they have what I didn't and without a cost! Most of all I always show up for them. The journey has not been easy.

In July of 2023 I was in beauty school getting my license to do hair, skin and nails. During school I started to have pain in my foot that spread up the entire right side of my body and ultimately put me in a wheelchair. January 2024 I spent almost a month in the hospital, trying to figure out my neurological condition. My condition has left me out of school, struggling to walk, struggling to make meals and attending athletic events for my children.

In the past year, my children and I have been harassed by people in our community that are tied to what I experienced as a teenager. My kids and I have been displaced for safety reasons and I have worked really hard to get the resources to move away and relocate.

We hope this move provides us the opportunity of a fresh start and the ability to heal from the trauma that has been endured. We are exhausted from moving around and trying to do it all in the midst of a possible diagnosis of progressive multiple sclerosis. I have created this Go Fund Me with the hopes of raising the remaining money needed to safely move my family. This money will go towards brakes so we can safely drive there, gas, food and hotels on our drive and any remaining money will go towards things we need to settle into our new home, including a new bed and mattress for my son and bills until I can be seen by a neurologist in my new state to continue accessing my medical condition and get me back to school and into my career.

My faith has not shaken and for the first time in my life I truly let go and let God. He has not failed us and my testimony is mine and I will give Him all the glory as He has stuck by my side and provided my children and I what we need. I will continue to trust in Him!
He is an abundant God above all!
