My name is Rodney A Outlaw. I'm a husband and father to two young boys and have been battling Acute Myeloid Leukemia for two and a half years! After several rounds of chemotherapy my best option for curing this disease is having a Stem Cell Transplant! Unfortunately the doctor's were unable to find any unrelated donors. My 10 year old son gave the most courageous gift in donating his stem cells to me! Next month, I will receive my transplant. Immediate recovery from the transplant will have me in the hospital for up to two months before returning home to finish recovering. Our family needs help to offset medical bills and other expenses for these upcoming events. Anything helps! God bless you all!

Update: Thursday, 6/12 Day -8 we have settled into the hospital and tomorrow begins 7 days of conditioning to get ready for Transplant. I will undergo 3 days of intensive chemo, then 4 days of total body radiation.
