My name is Roberto Rivera. I’m a husband, father, brother, and son.
Monday night around 6:45-7pm, I was on my motorcycle, doing my nightly ride with a friend of mine. I came around the corner and saw he wasn’t behind me. I looked back constantly to let him catch up to me. During those moments, looking behind me, a deer struck out in front of me and hit my motorcycle. I ended up flying a good 60-70 feet, causing road rash all up and down the left side of my body and breaking my collarbone. I’m currently not able to work for 6 weeks. My wife is still choosing to work, take care of the kids, the house, and me. Also, we are getting so much help from family and friends, which I’m grateful for. This is to help not fall behind on bills.
