On behalf of Roberto Gomez, husband of Wendy Azucena De Gomez, we come to you with heavy hearts. Thursday night into the Friday morning of December 13, 2024, our world crumbled before our very own eyes. Wendy had a medical emergency that required her being rushed to the ER, only to be told that she had significant bleeding in her brain. So much that there was nothing that could be done other than putting her on life support and praying for a miracle. After 4 long days of fighting and battling for her life, with all the love and support from her husband, parents, brother, and an entire church community that spent countless hours in the hospital lobby, Wendy gave us her last breath this past Monday, December 16, 2024. She leaves behind an amazing 5-year-old daughter who will have a million questions, an amazing husband who is now left behind with unimaginable pain and burden, along with an enormous hospital bill and other expenses yet to come. Parents and a sibling who flew in from El Salvador to give her a heartbreaking goodbye. She leaves behind an entire church community who love Wendy deeply and join the family in their sorrows. We simply ask that you help us bless Roberto and Angie navigate this unbearable loss with your financial contributions. We thank you in advance for your thoughts and prayers. En nombre de Roberto Gómez, esposo de Wendy Azucena De Gómez, venimos a ustedes con el corazón destrozado. La noche del Jueves entrando a la mañana del Viernes 13 de Diciembre de 2024, nuestro mundo se derrumbó ante nuestros propios ojos. Wendy tuvo una emergencia médica que requirió que la llevaran de urgencia a la sala de emergencias, donde se nos dijo que tenía un sangrado significativo en su cerebro. Tanto que no había nada que se pudiera hacer más que ponerla en soporte vital y orar por un milagro. Después de 4 largos días de luchar y batallar por su vida, con todo el amor y el apoyo de su esposo, padres, hermano y toda una comunidad de la iglesia que pasó incontables horas en los pasillos del hospital, Wendy nos dio su último suspiro este pasado Lunes 16 de Diciembre de 2024. Wendy deja atrás a una increíble hija de 5 años que tendrá un millón de preguntas, un esposo increíble que ahora se queda atrás con el dolor y carga inimaginables, junto con una enorme factura del hospital y otros gastos aún por venir. Padres y hermano que viajaron de emergencia desde El Salvador para darle un desgarrador adiós. Deja atrás a toda una comunidad de la iglesia que ama profundamente a Wendy y se une a la familia en su dolor. Simplemente le pedimos que nos ayude a bendecir a Roberto y Angie a aliviar un poco esta pérdida insoportable con sus contribuciones financieras.
