Our hearts are heavy as we share devastating news about Robert Do, the beloved owner of Boba Pho U in downtown Sacramento.

On May 24, 2025, while bravely attempting to repair the restaurant’s air conditioner, Robert suffered a tragic 30-foot fall from the roof. He is now fighting through severe injuries, including a shattered pelvis, broken arm, and fractured knee. As a single father of four, Robert’s world revolves around his children and his passion for serving our community through his vibrant restaurant.

Heartbreakingly, the accident insurance for Boba Pho U does not cover Robert as the owner, leaving him to face overwhelming medical costs and an uncertain future. This man, who pours his heart into every bowl of his famous beef pho and BBQ pork, who tirelessly supports his family and uplifts our community, now needs us to rally around him.

We, his close friends, are reaching out with a plea: let’s come together to support Robert in this time of need. Inspired by the spirit of compassion—“healthy leaves protect the torn ones”—we’re asking for your help to ease his burden.
