Aid Robert Dillard After Severe Accident
Donation protected
On Sunday, June 22nd, retired fire chief Robert Dillard was on his way home from Branson, Missouri when a deer ran out in front of him. He swerved to avoid hitting it and went airborne. He was life-flighted to Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas, where he will remain for at least two weeks. He broke his back in two places and his sternum. Thursday will be the beginning of a long surgery that will be spread over two days to clean up bone fragments and repair the spine. After recovery, he will go to a rehab facility. This will be a long recovery time for him.
If anyone is lead to help during this difficult time he will need medical assistance and extra expenses for his care. During the next two to three weeks, the family will rotate traveling to Little Rock to be with him. Most of all, we are asking for prayers for his healing .
