RK Brown or Randy Brown as known to his long time Atlanta friends and family was admitted to Hendersonville Medical Center Saturday evening November 1, 2025. He has been diagnosed and will now need a triple bypass surgery to regain his health.

He will be transferred to Centennial Hospital in mid-town Nashville ASAP to have the surgery and begin his road to recovery. Most working full-time musicians depend solely on gig income to support themselves and their families.

The recovery time for this can stretch out over many weeks. and even a few months before he can return to work. The added worry of not earning income during this period can be extremely stressful and lead to debt hard to recover come.

I'm asking for those in the Nashville and Atlanta music community to step up for our dear friend RK Brown and his wife Darlene to contribute what they can. This will ensure that through the healing period that the financial stress will be the least of their worries.

Randy is a man of sincere faith in Jesus Christ and for years has given his talent freely and modestly to many musical projects for those of you who know him. Please lift him up in your prayers at this time, contribute financially whatever you can today and in the next several weeks so he'll know finances are not going to be an issue.

It is uncertain whether TennCare will kick in on this retroactively. I'm told he applied a few weeks ago and is still waiting on a decision. Hopefully the hospitals and health care administrators will see this through... even with that, the money collected will be give RK and Darlene the opportunity to have comfort through the recovery process...
