Aid Rico Griego's Fight for a New Liver

I am Cheri Garduno-Griego, Jeff (Rico) Griego's wife. Rico has been battling liver failure and recently liver cancer. He has had one radiation and one chemo treatment. He has also been active on the transplant list since January 2025. Rico has been employed with Bal Seal Engineering for 13 years. His short-term disability and employment end on May 18th. With that, his health insurance will also expire. With no current health insurance, the liver transplant will be canceled, and he will be taken off the list for a new liver. He has been fighting this battle for approximately 2 years, and as of Saturday, May 3rd, his kidneys have taken a toll as well. Rico is currently in the ICU unit at Anshulz Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado, working diligently with the liver and kidney team. Rico has been bumped to the top of the list and is currently waiting for the next available liver for transplant. We are asking for support to help keep current health insurance through COBRA, which is $1,004.00 per month, plus medical expenses.
