Aid Richard's Family After Their Recent Loss
Donation protected
Easter morning, Richard Hempton Jr. left this world. Rick was the founder of "Battlefield News: One Army," the Christian newsletter, as well as The Whole Body Christian Alliance. His hope has always been to unite Christians despite denomination and above any building, to keep the teachings of Christ at the forefront of every ministry. He was many things in his life, but this is how he would want to be remembered: as a minister, a teacher, and a student of Christ.
My name is Richard Hempton III, and my father, Richard Hempton Jr., has passed. My father had many health issues in the past 8 years that drained his savings and mine. I am reaching out for help with final costs. I am still paying $22k of loans taken to help pay for his medical care (I am not asking for that), and the family is still recovering from the recent loss of his late wife. Our family is strapped financially and still raw emotionally, so we are asking for help. We chose the least expensive means for his remains, and the service will be held at a very helpful church, but the remaining costs are more than we have. The funds raised will go towards the funeral home's services and interment, as well as the cost of the required licensed unaccompanied death cleaning company (he died at home). My father spent his life helping others, but we are asking for your help now. Anything is appreciated, even sharing.
Cost Breakdown:
Cremation and interment: $3400
Unaccompanied Death Clean and disposal: $2419
Deceased's outstanding housing bills: $270
Grave Marker/Headstone: $330
Additional govt/funeral/end of life costs Paid for before GoFundMe: $3,334
