This page is on behalf of an extraordinary woman: Rev. Dr. Elin Jung—a servant-leader, educator, pastor, musician, and missionary who has dedicated her entire life to others.
Now in her later years, Rev. Dr. Elin continues to serve faithfully in Africa, where she is on a long-term missionary assignment. Most would consider this a time to retire, to slow down. But not Rev. Dr. Elin. Despite her physical ailments, age, and the challenges of missionary life, she presses on with purpose, humility, and a love for the people around her. She teaches, prays, listens, feeds, counsels, and lifts others up. She gives everything—and asks for nothing.
Her journey has been one of global compassion and steadfast obedience. From South Korea to the United States, India to Mongolia, Bangladesh to Thailand—and now Africa—Rev. Dr. Elin has sown seeds of hope and healing in every community she’s touched. She’s served as a principal at an international school, a church minister and worship leader, and an ordained pastor deeply committed to nurturing lives and faith. Along the way, she has mentored countless leaders and brought music, prayer, and education into places where little else could reach.
Rev. Dr. Elin is fluent in Korean, proficient in English, and even speaks bits of French, Italian, Spanish, and German. She’s not only a spiritual guide but a bridge between cultures, languages, and generations.
But even the strongest need support.
-Why Your Support Matters Now-
While Rev. Dr. Elin remains mentally sharp and spiritually strong, her body has begun to feel the weight of decades spent in tireless service. Some years ago, she underwent spinal surgery—but unfortunately, it was not fully successful. She has lived ever since with lingering pain and physical discomfort, which has increasingly affected her ability to walk and carry out daily tasks.
And yet, she chose to keep going. She pressed forward—not out of obligation, but out of love and devotion to the God she serves and the people she ministers to. Her life is a living testimony of faith in action, even through personal suffering.
In addition to mobility challenges, she now faces other age-related health concerns, and the remote setting of her current mission makes access to medical care difficult. These burdens, which she has borne quietly and without complaint, are part of what prompted us to step in.
Your Donation Will Help Provide:
Safe housing, healthy meals, and transportation while in Africa
Access to local and international healthcare providers
Support for her outreach and ministry efforts
Assistance with mobility and daily living needs
Resources to help her transition when this current mission concludes
We invite you to be part of her story—a story that has already spanned continents, transformed lives, and continues to inspire.
Rev. Dr. Elin Jung is the kind of person who, even when no one is looking, keeps giving. Now, it’s our turn to give back.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for reading, sharing, and supporting this mission.
