In February of last year (2022), we, Sam Edrissi and Anna Edrissi (from Ukraine) experienced the terror of the conflict in Ukraine firsthand. Witnessing the chaos and devastation, we knew we had to act. We returned to Ukraine in May and July of last year and were able to provide aid to those living in hard-to-reach villages in the province of Chernihiv. These communities had been raided and bombed, with many held hostage. Food and resources were scarce, and people were forced to eat their pets.

Despite the difficult circumstances, we were able to bring hope and support to those in need. However, there is still much work left to do. We are now raising funds to return to these affected regions and continue our efforts to rebuild homes, provide food, clothing, and medicine, and make travel arrangements for those in need.

Due to shelling and gunfire, many families are facing the cold weather with compromised and damaged homes, such as the harsh and unforgiving Ukraine winters. With your help, we can be that glimmer of hope for these families, providing essential resources and support to help them rebuild and recover from the conflict.

With your donations we will All donations will go directly towards purchasing food, clothing, and medicine, repairing damaged homes (including roofs, windows, and walls), building wells and wood furnace burners, and making travel arrangements for those in need. We will be going to aid the following regions: Chernihiv, Kyiv, and Bahmut. We will be working directly with the locals of these areas to whom we have been sending of our own money since the war began: Yaroslava Bilovska, Serega Levchenko (troop on the ground in the front lines), and Bogdan.
