Aid Rebecca and Asa with NICU Expenses
Donation protected
Hello, friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
As many of you know, Rebecca and Asa were expecting their baby girl to arrive in late December. However, due to emergent concerns for Rebecca and their baby girl, their journey has taken an unexpected and challenging turn.
On Friday, November 1st, Rebecca was rushed to Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital via life flight so that she could receive care at a larger hospital better equipped for any emergent situation. After nearly two weeks at Santa Rosa Memorial, Rebecca's doctors decided to induce labor early at 34 weeks. This means their precious baby girl will need to spend an unknown amount of time in the NICU as she works to grow stronger and thrive outside the womb.
As we all know, extended and unexpected hospital stays come with a heavy financial burden. Rebecca had to begin her maternity leave earlier than expected, and Asa will also be leaving work sooner than planned to be by her side. Between mounting medical bills, lost income, travel expenses to and from the hospital, and the other costs that come with this unforeseen early birth, they are facing a challenging road ahead.
In this challenging time, we are contacting our community for support. Any financial assistance you can offer will help Rebecca and Asa cover their bills, medical expenses, and essential costs while focusing on caring for their newborn daughter. No amount is too small—every donation will go directly toward helping them through this challenging moment.
We also understand that not everyone can donate, but sharing this campaign with others is another meaningful way to help. Your support, kind words, and prayers are truly appreciated as Rebecca, Asa, and baby girl navigate this uncertain time.
Thank you for your generosity, love, and continued support.
Many thanks to all from,
Auntie Jade, Rebecca, Asa, Grayson, and Baby Girl Smith.
