Hi, I’m Joshua Reneau, the son of Raymond Reneau. I am making a GoFundMe for my parents as my dad is not doing well health-wise and is out of work for the time being due to his health.

On August 18th, 2025 my dad's health started to decline tremendously.  he was told by doctors that his kidneys were failing and failing fast, so he started seeing more doctors, and with that comes bills from the doctor that started to pile up.

In the past month the  bad news kept on coming. He was told he was going to need a kidney transplant and to be on dialysis. When he went to get approved to go on dialysis, my father got even more bad news that really hit home. He was told that his heart had severe blockage on a couple of valves. So, from needing a kidney and dialysis to needing heart surgery, but not just any surgery, he is going to need a double bypass open-heart surgery. That changed everything, and seeing mom and dad stressed and worried because of this and not knowing what the outcome is going to be.

My dad is a great man, father, husband, grandfather, and most of all, just a great person in general. My dad would give you his last breath if it meant that it would keep you alive. He is strong, hardworking, and someone you could get advice from. He provided for the family and made sure you didn’t go without, even if it meant that it was going to take a fortune. He would get it done with no complaints.

My dad and mom aren’t ones to ask for anything because of who they are. They always worked for what they have and figured things out, but sometimes we all need a hand. I’m asking friends and family for your help in helping my dad with his medical expenses. Even if it’s just a prayer, anything is thankful for and appreciated.
