Hello, my name is Genavieve. My dad, Raul Cervantes, has been in the hospital for almost a month now. He asked me to share his story.

He has undergone 4+ surgeries related to his infection to his intestines already, and he is quite literally fighting for his life. Unfortunately, the way the hospitals work in Playa Del Carmen is very different than here in the USA.

We are all struggling, trying to get him the care he needs and pay for the proper medications and antibiotics that are needed for him to heal.
