First update: Penny has started a sort of radiation treatment on her brain that will hopefully keep the brain from swelling to prevent seizures so that she can be more comfortable. She will do these daily in Texarkana for 7 or so treatments. Her spirits are high and I'm in awe of her attitude towards such devastating news.

My aunt, Penny Almond, had a seizure a little over a week ago and was rushed to St. Michael in Texarkana. While she was there, brain cancer which had spread from her lungs was discovered. Penny was released from the hospital. The cancer is inoperable and her prognosis is not positive. She can, however, have treatments to possibly keep the brain swelling down. Penny has no medical insurance. She is in need of medical supplies, gas to travel to Texarkana daily, and now, a mountain of medical bills, with more to follow. If you feel moved to help, it would help her tremendously. All funds donated will go straight to Penny for her immediate needs.
