My sister, Patricia Herron, is one of the strongest people I know. She has been courageously battling cancer, while also facing a devastating case of Legionella pneumonia and ongoing heart complications. In June, her fight became critical—she was rushed to the ICU and placed on life support. By the grace of God, she pulled through, but her recovery has been long, painful, and overwhelming.

Between hospital stays, treatments, and medical bills, the financial burden has become more than she can carry on her own. On top of all of this, she is raising her two daughters as a single mom. Her girls are her world, and she continues to fight every day for them despite the challenges she faces.
