Our Story

Hello, we’re reaching out on behalf of Pastor Wayne L. Buggs, beloved husband, father of five (including two in college), and tireless community servant in Lincoln Parish, Louisiana. On February 10, 2025, while distributing food during one of his regular charitable outreach events, Pastor Buggs tragically fell down a set of steps and broke both knees. He was rushed to the hospital and has since undergone surgery, followed by intensive rehabilitation. This sudden injury has left him unable to work his usual odd jobs—his primary source of income—and has placed an immense financial burden on his family

Why We Need Your Help

Pastor Buggs has always given selflessly: whether preaching at Mount Sinai Baptist Church and Antioch Baptist Church, leading the Lincoln United Community Coalition, or simply lending a hand to neighbors in need. Now, as he faces months of recovery, he cannot support his family financially. His wife is caring for him and their children, two of whom are in college, while managing household expenses. Medical bills, physical therapy costs, mortgage/rent, utilities, and tuition payments continue to accrue—expenses that no family should have to face alone
