Palwinder was a gentle, kind, soft-spoken young woman whose smile reflected her pure heart. She came to the United States with hope and courage, determined to study and support her family back home. Her parents, who come from a poor background, took a $40,000 loan to send her abroad so she could continue her education and lift her family out of hardship.

No parent should ever have to lose their child—especially one so young, so full of dreams, and so far from home.

Her unexpected passing has left her family completely shattered. They now face:
