Hi, my name is Padma Patricia Borrego, and I’m raising funds to apply to graduate school and begin my journey toward earning a Master’s in Counseling Psychology with a focus on Somatic Psychology.

For over three decades, I’ve worked with the body—through yoga, bodywork, and energy healing. Each of these practices supports a different layer of our human experience:

Now, I’m ready to expand this work through formal clinical training. I’m currently preparing to apply to two accredited graduate programs—Meridian University and the Integrative Psych Institute—both offering a path to licensure as a therapist with an emphasis of somatic therapy.

While each program has strengths, the Integrative Psych Institute especially excites me. Its curriculum blends traditional and contemporary approaches, including somatic psychology, trauma-informed care, internal family systems, and systems thinking—aligning beautifully with the work I already offer and the path I feel called to walk.

Unfortunately, neither program offers grants, scholarships, or aid—only loans. The Integrative Psych Institute I will have to secure funding for the first year as they finish their FAFSA process.

To get started and I’m seeking to raise $3,950 to cover the application and enrollment of the summer session at the Integrative Psych Institute.
