Hello everyone! On May 28, 2025, we received a horrific phone call from Sutter ER that Owen, our 18 year old little brother, was taken by ambulance and in the trauma center due to falling 3 stories. Breaking bones all over his body including his right wrist, badly breaking 3 of his fingers on his left hand along with other bones within his hand. He broke ribs, his pelvis, his lower spine and his neck in two places. His left leg below his knee is completely snapped and shattered from below his knee to halfway down his shin. Every bone in the top of his left foot broke and shattered. Owen now needs many surgeries and so much hardware in all of these broken bones to put them back together.

We currently already have a close family member sick with many current and future medical bills expected with that. Our family was not expecting a second layer of bills and expenses that are currently flowing in and yet to come for the number of medical treatments and costs now and in the near future. All the CT’s and MRIs, the ambulance ride, the cost of immediate family having to find somewhere to stay each night to be near him and food costs of not being home, during the weeks he has to stay in the ICU and the ER. Plus the many appointments and physical therapy that is to come and every little thing in between these costs.

What should have been such a special and exciting time in his life with getting his drivers license the morning of the accident and his high school graduation next week(which he worked so hard to get all A’s to end his Senior year), quickly turned to one of the scariest times of his life.
