My brothers and I wanted to start this GoFundMe for my mother who so graciously worries about everyone else, we want to make sure she’s taken care of during this horrible time.

I want to make a disclaimer that in no way are we expecting money, nor reaching a goal - however anything at all helps. We never thought to be in this position to be making one of these.

For the past week, our dad has been sick with what we thought was a cold. Last week at some point, he had sharp pains in his chest, but stubbornly dismissed it. This morning, he fainted in our family home and was brought to the hospital via ambulance to United. We’ve come to find out the sharp pains was a heart attack. Long story short, our dad was placed on a ventilator and had an ECMO placed. He stopped breathing in process of this and endured multiple shocks and rounds of compressions. By the grace of God, everything is placed and he is finally stable with better vitals than he started with. At this time, it’s a waiting game to let his heart relax and recover from all the damage. He’s going to be transferred to Abbott with a team of professionals who have seen my dads condition before. There, he will be on continuous dialysis for his injured organs and will be in a medically induced coma that will be followed with open heart surgery.

We have hope that my dad’s stubbornness and fight will shine through again to come to his recovery and come home.
