Hi Everyone,

I never imagined I’d be writing something like this, but I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help.

Today, my 10-month-old kitten suffered a terrifying accident, she fell out of a 7th-floor window. I rushed her to the emergency vet, and miraculously, she survived the fall. But the injuries she sustained are serious. One of her hind legs is shattered and will need extensive surgery and long-term care. She also fractured her front palate, which has made eating and breathing incredibly painful for her. Watching her try to stay strong through the pain has been devastating.

She’s still just a baby, playful, curious, and so full of love. Before this happened, she was zooming around the apartment, chasing shadows and curling up in the crook of my arm. Now she lies quietly, fighting to heal.

The medical bills for her emergency care, surgery, medication, and hospitalization are all pilling, and as much as I want to handle everything on my own, I can’t do this without help.
