Aid Our Family's Cancer Struggle

Aloha family and friends, Its offically been 2 yrs. Since my intial post on gofundme, time for an update. First i'd like to express my gratitude to every single one of you who so graciously and generously donated to me. You all touched my heart and spirit and encouraged me to stay alive. I felt so blessed to have gotten all your support and love. This has been the toughest years of my life while i've had to withdraw from everything to focus all my attention on healing. This all happened so quickly. From the day i walked into the ER and was undergoing brain surgery, 5 days later having two large tumors removed from my head. I was told my left lung had collapsed completly, as it was filled wih fluid. So they gave me a thorcostomy pleural effusion which means a tube inserted into my left lung side to drain fluid non-stop for the 5 days i was in the hospitol waiting to undergo brain surgery. After the succesful tumor extractio I underwent a bronchoscopy( large tube down my throat to look at the lung) which i regained consciousness during, it was extremely frightening and painful. After many xray scans, MRI'S, and a biopsy was told I had stage Iv lung cancer that metastasized (aggresively spread) to lymph and brain adenocarcinoma(tumor causing). Once i was released from the hospitol 3 days after surgery I had radiation on my brain for a week, then began chemotherapy. One month into the chemo treatments I was readmitted into the Er to have a catheter inserted to my left lung again from excess fluid, which i had to drain everyday for months. It was very painful. It was a relief getting that taken out months later while continuing chemotherapy and immunotherapy for the last year and a half. I also had two blood transfusions during that time. I have been placed on disability unable to work or drive much and will always be thankful for my daughter, sons, and husband who have become my caregivers throughout this time of fighting to heal and stay alive. It has really been a struggle and battle. Having all that intervention slowed the cancer from spreading further and got me to a stabilized point. It has also made me feel very frail, weak, and sick. I have decided to take a break from the conventional allopathic standard of care and implement several gentler natural therapies. Having said all that altho i am stable now these therapies are not covered by my insurance. So any support at this time is still needed and greatly appreciated. I am doing better but still struggling to continue on and heal myself.
