Support Trisha’s Fight

In 2022 Trisha was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer with lymph node involvement. After enduring over 8 months of chemotherapy and radiation treatment this warrior, our hero, beat it.

Unfortunately this is not where this story ends.

In July 2025, Trisha was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, an aggressive form of cancer likely attributed to her initial chemo treatment.

Trisha spent six weeks over the summer at Memorial Sloan Kettering in NYC to receive her initial treatment of chemotherapy. Missing family vacations and both of her children’s birthdays. As if this wasn’t enough to deal with, during her prolonged stay at MSK for treatment that weakened her immune system, Trisha fought off a Norovirus infection, the flu and a staph infection in her bloodstream. In addition, she had a fractured tailbone, most likely due to the hormonal therapy she is required to take to prevent the breast cancer from returning. She recently completed another chemotherapy treatment as she awaits insurance and donor approvals.

As of now the chemotherapy is over but Trisha’s fight is not. In the next few weeks she will enter a MSK facility to receive Stem-Cell Transplant Therapy. As this treatment weakens the immune system considerably, as close to non-existent as possible, Trisha will need to be isolated for 100 days.

100 days. Away from her children, Joey (17) and Bella (12).
100 days. Away from Family and Friends.
100 days. As she fights she will miss the holidays.

After the 100 days, her immune system will be that of an infant and will need to be isolated at home until she can build her immunity up. This time frame can take months.

Trisha is a proud, single mom who’s world revolves around her children. She is the most kind, selfless person who will give you the shirt off her back and then some. No questions asked. And will never ask for anything in return.

But now she needs our help.

We are asking for support to cover her mounting medical bills and ongoing expenses while she is out of work undergoing treatment. This can hopefully give her one less thing to worry about while she is isolated fighting this horrific disease and kicking cancer’s ass once and for all! Let’s do for Trisha what we know she would do for us.
