Hi, my name is Yohanna, and I’m humbly reaching out to ask for help for our family members in La Union, Philippines, who were devastated by Typhoon Emong.

I don’t usually feel comfortable asking for money—but this is an emergency, and every bit of support will go directly to helping our loved ones recover. The typhoon brought powerful winds and heavy rain that severely damaged many homes in the area. Roofs were torn off, leaving families exposed to the storm, and heavy flooding drenched the interiors of their homes. Most belongings were soaked or destroyed.

Our family members are now left with very little—trying to salvage what they can while dealing with the emotional and financial toll of this disaster. They need help repairing their homes, replacing essential items, and regaining a sense of safety and normalcy.
