Hello! We are the Dowds family and this adorable little chunk is Ollie (Oliver if you ask the government).

This handsome little chunk had a very rough go at life from the very beginning and has been such a trooper!

He has come such a long way since he was born and is now able to be home with us! Unfortunately, he is still not better and has quite a road ahead of him. With that being said, he is still currently on a G-tube with a complete oral aversion because he is in pain eating, even just through the G-tube. He has severe acid reflux even on medication and vomits if he goes over a certain threshold of formula. He can be moved, but even changing his diapers can cause him to vomit.

He is going to be seen by another gastroenterologist, nephrologist, neurologist, and cardiologist in New Orleans, which is just over two hours from us. We have a car, but it barely fits us, all the kids, and Oliver’s medical equipment.

We are just looking for a little help paying down some of our car so we can trade it in for a better option for us as a family as well as to better accommodate Ollie and his equipment.

If the goal is not met, we still plan on using the money towards Ollie’s need just in different ways such as paying for medicine, gas to appointments, medical supplies!
