So the time is finally here. I have been working tirelessly to prepare the house for sale, the only home I’ve truly ever had that was always there. Packing has been a slow process of going through my mother’s things a room at a time finding memories of my granny stay here, letters, photos, journals, and all the birthday cards and Mother’s Day cards that my mom saved. In this picture are the three women that meant more to me than words can measure. My mom, my granny, and my aunt Naoma, all gone now. They are not just a definition of my heart, but they are truly what makes Home home, and that is Kentucky. Shortly, I will never be able to enter these doors again, that is hard to comprehend. It’s so difficult to imagine but the time has come. I want to thank everyone for getting me through these last two years, my mother‘s surgery, the reoccurrence of her cancer and finally losing her a year ago. I couldn’t have done this without you. now more than ever I need this final push to hire Movers to get my things into storage, to pay the storage bill and my upcoming bills while the house is on the market. My pets Bonnie and pick up both need to go to the vet. Long overdue. I’ve been concentrating on my own health lately and I’m in a better place than I’ve been since I lost mom hopefully strong enough to sustain leaving my mother‘s beautiful home forever. I ask you this final time to help me, I look forward to the day when I’m not asking, but I’m giving again, which is who I am. These GoFundMe‘s have been hard and humbling and I wouldn’t ask again if it weren’t absolutely necessary.
