My name is Hania. I’m a Lebanese American and I live in Colorado. I am fundraising for a dear friend, Noor. Noor and her family lived in Gaza up until last year. Noor's beloved husband Ahmad was a pharmacist and just before October 7, they opened their dream restaurant with their 4 children. Shortly after the assault on Gaza started, Ahmad was helping load injured people in an ambulance when it was targeted by the IOF. Ahmad was killed instantly. Soon after, both their home and their restaurant were bombed and reduced to rubble. Noor lost everything but most devastatingly the love of her life and father of her children. She was able to evacuate to Cairo to keep her children safe with the hope of returning to Gaza soon after. Now, more than a year later, that hope is dwindling and Noor is raising her 4 children alone. Noor's mother and all of her siblings and their families are still in Gaza trying to survive the horrific daily conditions. Please help Noor support herself and her children so they can survive until the day they are able to return home to their family.
