Our beloved friend, partner, and dedicated community member, Nita Owenby, was recently involved in a near-fatal car accident. She sustained multiple crushed and broken bones and is now in the fight of her life. Doctors have called her survival a miracle, and Nita is courageously facing a long road to recovery filled with surgeries and healing.

Nita is not just a pillar of strength for those who know her personally—she’s also a quiet hero in our community. Through her landscaping business, she has poured heart and soul into the land recovery efforts at Medicine Wheel Way, helping to restore and nurture our shared spaces with care and dedication. It's our turn to pour into her!
